What is "curating?" When I first heard the word I immediately thought about people who worked in museums! I have now come to learn that it has a new meaning in the tech world although the definition is not all that different. It means "picking and choosing what to share and include on the website for the audience." So this page is what I have picked to share with my visitors.
Please note that curating resources is never a finished task for educators! Please stop by and visit often as I continually build my resources. Broken links are always a problem when curating online resources. I apologize in advance if you stumble across a broken link.

The first thing I want to share is my love of TED Talks! There are so many good ones! They are only 18 minutes long on average and they can be very inspirational. Do you enjoy hearing about "ideas worth spreading?" Click on the button below to listen to all my favorite TED talks.
For many years, my primary tool for curating resources was Pinterest. I still use Pinterest a lot, but I have found I need other curating tools as well.
As I became more active on Twitter, I started saving more articles and blog posts that were not "pinnable" and I would email the articles to myself. However, as you well know, email is not an effective way to curate resources! So in the summer of 2015, I started using Livebinders for my articles and other items that were not able to be pinned. So images=Pinterest...text=Livebinders!
In addition to the above tools that I use to curate resources, I also started using Goodreads in 2018 as a means to keep track of books I want to read and have read. Please also see my reflections about what I read on the reading page.
